Based on the Dark Horse Comics character of the same name, Hellboy is the story of a demon, raised from infancy after being conjured by and rescued from the Nazis. Eventually the demon grows up to become a defender against the forces of darkness.

The amphibious Abe Sapien can breathe underwater, swim at a great speed and is an excellent marksman and hand-to-hand combatant.
